To test or not to test...

(That is the real question)

Thinking About ADHD Testing? Here’s Where to Start.

It’s completely normal to have mixed feelings about getting tested and what to do with the results.

But with ADHD, knowledge is power.

The more you understand your symptoms and experiences, the more control you have over managing them in a way that works for you.

🔹 Step 1: Take the Self-Test to explore your symptoms and recognise patterns across your life.

🔹 Step 2: Consider whether a Clinical Test with a psychiatrist is the right next step.

Whatever you're feeling, you're not alone. Start with the Self-Test today.

The self test is your first step to understanding your unique ADHD. Here's why to take this one.

Start Test

The version I have created based on the official test includes supportive prompts for better accuracy.

It is totally FREE  and answers are instant! Find out today where you score.

✔ Take my online ADHD self-test - Get a sense of your symptoms, their impact and frequency, plan next steps, feel better prepared for your clinical test and gain a better understanding of what is happening for you.

✔ Book a Self-Test ADHD Session with me — Prefer taking your time and talking things through, want a second opinion? I’ll guide you through helping you reflect on how ADHD shows up in your life (work, home, relationships), and make sense of the results together.

This option is particularly good for adults that suspect they have ADHD but may be heavily masking to manage symptoms.

TEST TIPS (no. 5 is the most important!)

1. Grab a Pen & Paper  – Writing things down can help you process your thoughts and notice patterns in your answers.

2. Think Back to Childhood  – ADHD symptoms start early, even if they weren’t recognised at the time.

3. Look at Every Area of Life  – ADHD affects work, relationships, social life, and home in different ways.

4. Find Someone Who Gets you  – Who  knows you well can help you reflect on the accuracy of your results.

5. Don't forget to consider the effort it takes – You may have coping skills in place or spend alot of time/effort masking some symptoms.
